The boat to Jagmandir takes eleven minutes and nobody spoke for nine of them. Meera had spent four days being told where to stand; on the water there was nowhere to go, so she stopped performing and just looked at the light on the palace wall.
We shot the whole crossing at 1/60 because the sun had already gone. Grain everywhere. It is the only sequence from that week either of them has printed.
