Forty-one degrees and the baraat still went the long way round because Ishaan's grandfather wanted to pass the street he grew up on. It added twenty minutes nobody had.
The horse was unbothered. The band was not. Somewhere around the third stop the whole thing stopped being a procession and became about a very old man pointing at a doorway.
